scenic walk 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 30, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Easy to navigate.... look for the benches with hole data scrolled across the backs. Flow was good, course circles around a pond.... nice scenic walk.

Cons:

No major obstacles to have to navigate.... WIND was the biggest challenge. Two mini concrete pads... no run-up there...
Not sure the listed distances were right... seemed shorter than the scorecard.

Other Thoughts:

My first Canada experience.... was what it was: a nice trip break on the way to Winnipeg. Don't think I'll stop on the way back.

A Nice Stretch of the Legs 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 9, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

A nice, small, easy to navigate little course that makes decent use of the land available. There are benches at every tee, which double as hole markers.

Cons:

Really short. I have no arm and overshot most holes. Each tee consists of two 18" x 18" patio blocks, so it is just stand and throw. The holes are all straight shots over level ground without obstacles, so if you are looking for a challenge, go elsewhere.

Other Thoughts:

Having just played two poorly marked object courses in Winnipeg, I was thrilled to come across this little course. Nothing great, but a good way to break up a long trip along the Lord Selkirk Highway (75). A chance to stretch and get a small bit of exercise along the way.

There is plenty of room if they ever decide to expand and/or lengthen.
