Pros:

Great course with a very nice layout. Holes can be challenging due to the tall grass and other recreational activities.

Cons:

Try not to go during school hours as the school uses this area during their class time. Have a spotter for blind shots.

Pros:

It´s the only 18 hole course on the island I live, and a damn good one to.
There is a lake that comes into play on 5 holes, and there is a couble of uphill holes, open holes and some are as woody as they get, a good all around course.
The baskets are ok, maybe a bit low, it´s like many of the baskets are 1/2 to a foot lower then usely.

Cons:

There is a archery practice course, making it imposible to play 4 holes when they practise.
Some of the tees are ok, but most are not to good, and then the 4 tees on the archery practice course are hard to find.
Check the courses website at www.soroefrisbee.dk to find out when it´s good to play.

Other Thoughts:

The course is werry challenging, and for someone like me it´s great that you have the option to play from yellow and red, and not white, wich on thise course is realy hard.
there is a 19th. hole, wich is played as the final hole in contest´s and it´s crazy !!

Best course in Denmark? 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 8, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

It has been upgraded to a full 18 holes.
The baskets are in good condition.
Sorø has some off the best risk reward holes in Denmark. Part of the course is situated on what used to be a golf course. There is water that comes well into play on several holes, and while most of the course is relatively flat, there are a couple of holes that have nice elevation changes and challenging greens.

Cons:

Tees are mostly grass on a clay heavy ground. So if it has been raining lately, bring good shoes, because the water doesnt drain away so well, so tees can be slippery and muddy. Some Tees are also slightly uneven

Other Thoughts:

The course has some holes that cant be played during certain times during the week, because this area is also used for archery practice. When the flag is hoisted there is archerypractice and you should keep away. To read about when these times are go to the courses website at http://www.soroefrisbee.dk /
