Pros:
Yuma has a disc golf course! It's 9 holes and makes for a good hour or two with friends (if you play it twice). Lots of well maintained grass. Lots of people play this course and it's good to meet and share knowledge with them.
Cons:
The design has been changed 3-4 times since 2009, and not for the better. The baskets are crooked, and the course could have been designed much better. The turf is over-watered and the trees are small (because they are over-watered). Get used to playing in water traps. Gophers abound and their mounds cover some of the tees. Mandatories 2&3 are switched which is actually better. Please change the map.
Other Thoughts:
I went to pre-play the course on Thanksgiving Day because friends were getting together the Saturday after. What I found were baskets in dis-repair. S-hooks were missing on many baskets, about 10 alone on hole 3. On Black Friday I went to the hardware store and bought the parts. I spent about two hours repairing the chains at every hole. I couldn't fix crooked, leaning baskets. But, it was playable.
