New Reno disc golf course - grass & bombers 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 13, 2020 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Ball golf course added disc golf mostly between fairways. You will most likely not lose discs here, limited shrubs, but a fair amount of trees that are spaced fairly apart and not requiring impossible shots to navigate around. A good number of par 4s and a 900 foot par 5 so great course for big arms. Well designed to make best use of spaces between ball golf holes. Brand new baskets and nice rubber tee pads. Good signage, but sometimes spacing between holes is far so grab a map. I couldnt find this course on udisc since its so new.

Cons:

You do have to contend with ball golfers, so pay attention, be respectful and yell fore when required. Keep your head up as you could get beaned by a golf ball if not aware of your surroundings. I went on weekdays so it wasn't busy, but I heard you need to make reservations at busy times.

Other Thoughts:

It costs $10 to play, which is entirely fair to play such an excellent course. Playing on grass rocks! I could only play the front 9 due to the back 9's closure because of mud and recent snow. I've played about 20 courses in my life and I'd rate this in my top 3. Hats off to the course designers and golf course ownership/management for making great use of the land between ball golf fairways! i hope more ball golf courses do the same. I can't wait to return.
