Pros:

Western Union Elementary School DGC is 9 holes that's designed and intended for children. It succeeds in that regard. It is actually a pretty fun pitch and putt course for adults as well actually.

The baskets are Innova Discatchers that are all brand new and catch great. One basket and pin position per hole.

The tee pads are natural but all were in great shape. The front of the tee areas are marked by those disc sized metal circles that seem somewhat common around this area. They also trick me into thinking someone left a disc laying on the ground. Especially since they say Innova on them.

The tee signs are pretty basic but serve their purpose. Hole #, distance and par. All the info you need for a short course like this. Helps you easily locate the tee area too.

The hole lengths range from 102' to 298' with 7 of the 9 being under 200'. Great design for elementary school kids. The flow of the course is very straightforward, starting and ending by the southeast parking lot. 3 holes play in the woods with the other 6 being in open lawn area of the school property.

The course is permanent and free to play outside of school hours. Very clean and well maintained course. Likely to never be busy, probably won't even see any others players out there actually.

Cons:

Besides the 3 wooded holes theres just not much for obstacles. Again, it's designed for children so that's kind of the point. Just not going to be very exciting for most players.

Not available for play when school is in session. For obvious reasons.

Not much else to say honestly.

Other Thoughts:

This is a course that will likely take about 20 minutes to play. Nothing to go out of your way to play obviously, but worth a spin at least once. Great place to go ace hunting with a putter.

Honestly it's a pretty decent little course. I'm going to rate it a 1.5 or passable. It's well designed for whom it's designed for.
