Surprisingly decent 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 11, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

- A number of challenging throws around trees, most of which are very mature and tall, with the creek coming into play once or twice.
- Nicely worked into the less used areas of a great city park to where you don't have to worry about hitting or inconveniencing anyone, other than maybe one or two throws.
- Campground on site, within a few hundred feet of the second hole.

Cons:

- Several holes were almost completely wide open.
- Other than the map on the first tee (or ninth hole), there was no markers or tee boxes to indicate where to throw. I'll upload the photo, but make sure to take your own.
- I'm no fan of natural tee boxes.

Other Thoughts:

This is my dad's hometown, and I remember being slightly confused as to why the course was being installed. Many years later, I played it for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The novelty of the pole holes made it quirky, and several of the throws made me empty my bag. By no means am I an expert disc golfer, but I enjoyed this course far more than I anticipated.
