Creepy But Unique 2+ years

Pros:

Church courses usually all feel about the same; 200 foot holes, a few trees, mostly boring, closed on Sundays, etc. etc. You've seen one church course you've seen them all right? Think again! This course is all of that cookie cutter church course experience but with a few curve balls thrown in that you didn't expect to see, that is unless you are reading fine course reviews by excellent reviewers on a great website! HA!

I'm not sure if hole two is on the cons list or pros list for me, it is one of the worst but wackiest holes I've played and at almost 200 courses played I like to see something I haven't seen before. Anyway hole two starts you on one side of the old church with the tee pad staring off towards the property line and an electric fence probably 100 feet away. Further investigation and you walk around the old church and you see a basket tucked in a corner with maybe a ten foot green and surrounded by an electric fence. Check out the pictures in the media section.

Cons:

This is not a course for the touring pro but you can have fun here with a putter, super class disc or coffee can lid. The only hole that really challenges even your putter is hole seven which is the creepy cemetery hole which I over drove and ended up putting from on top of one of the graves which is just plain creepy.

Many of the holes play right next to both the old and new church buildings and I'm surprised they already haven't had problems with over zealous golfers and their warp speed drivers breaking windows.

Other Thoughts:

This place is kind of out of the way of just about everything so I'm not sure why you would be driving through this way but if you are I would recommend stopping for thirty minutes and stretching the legs. This is a destination course for course baggers I believe as you get a few unique opportunities here that you won't find anywhere else.
