You pick my new MID!!!

I had a Glo Roc and like I said, it was a good disc; but I actually preferred the Warrior and before I threw it in a lake I found myself reaching for the Warrior more than the Roc.

I've never had an understable mid. I always relied on turning my mako over for left to right shots; so I have no real knowledge on any of those discs. Just by the flight chart I figured a comet was understable but if it's a concenus that its not I'll probably look in to something else because I am looking for something that is definitely understable.

Another thing that may factor in to things is that I carry a RPro Pig for approach shots. I can get it out to (280 consistently - 300 max) in a field and use it for approaches and drives up to 250 on wooded holes when i want something overstable.

PIAS in Raleigh doesn't carry Latitude so those options are out anyway. That's a sad loss for you.

yea but if one of those won i would of found them on here or on theBay. I was just going to PIAS because the Z Buzzz was so far ahead, I need to buy a Mako and I'm playing a round in the morning for practice and a round in the afternoon for money and I need a friggin mid.

Honestly money is not really that big of a deal right now so trying out a bunch of new discs is what I plan on doing. If I get Z Buzzz and hate it its no sweat, I'll trade it or sell it.

Z Buzzz is a good disc. I'd be surprised if you hated it. If I didn't already have about 10 Cores I'd probably have a Buzzz in the bag.

The gl fuse is the shiznit. Buy two though. Started throwing my backup today and was surprised how different they flew. New one was dead straight. Old one is easy to turn over and holds anny lines with ease. Also the fuse doesn't skip as much as buzzz. If you decide on z buzzz the ss is slightly more stable and will take more power without flipping. Thought I was imagining things in regards to the ss but I mentioned it to emac at Brent hambrick and he conferred. And yes I am totally name dropping.

I carry 2 Fuses also. 167 GL for the finesse anny's, and a 178 Opto for nice straight fairway shots.

Yes, the Pain might be winning, we're still taking a look.

You're saying that the straighter, less stable version of the Buzzz (Buzzz SS) is more stable than the Buzzz?

There is a reason that the Z Buzzz is winning, and people are trying desperately to convince you to choose their disc. The reason they just don't compare to th Z Buzzz.

If you think of the Buzzz in terms of beer it breaks down for me something like this: Pro-D Buzzz=Budwieser Select, X Buzzz=Budwieser, Z Buzzz=Bud Light, and ESP Buzzz=Bud Light w/ Lime. All of them are good, all of them tastle like a Bud, but most people like a Bud Light, same thing with the Buzzz. Take your choice either way you drink it, it goes down smooth.

That being said I'm a Coors Light man.

I would never drink with you. Ever.

If you want to compare a Buzzz to a REAL beer, try Founders. The Elite-X, in this comparison, would be their flagship Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale. And the rest of the lineup is just there to give you more options of awesome.

Founders does put out some awesome beer!!! Their porter is so silky and smooth, just plain sexy!!! Double Trouble, KBS, Breakfast Stout, Devil Dancer...damn the list just goes on and on. I'm so glad NC is within their distribution ring!!!

There's about a billion fun midrange discs to throw. Just try a bunch and trade em away until you find what you like. Most midrange bags will be built around some kind of neutral midrange like a Roc, Buzzz, or Core, and then have more overstable and understable discs for specialty shots.

I personally carry:

Glo Z Buzzz - based on Discspeed's advice, I really like this disc. regular Z is fine, though.
Opto Fuse - touch shots
Vector - for overstable stuff

Sometimes I carry a Meteor, but I use it more like a driver than a midrange.

A Z Buzzz isnt a mid-range disc.... its more of a fairway driver...

For what its worth, I use my Glo Buzz as my power mid...much like a driver. I also have a Star Mako that I hang on to for shaping shots inside 150', but many people on this site would use a putter mold instead.

So this got really confusing and I'm pretty sure some people may have voted twice but....

right now I have it as...

Z Buzzz 12
GL Fuse 11
ESP Comet 7
X Buzzz 5
Meteor 3
..everything else... I'm honestly really surprised a Roc isn't up here... are the sands of mid range power shifting?

Fixed

ESP Meteor to replace the Mako.. either that or a Opto Fuse will do the trick

ESP FLX Buzzz to replace the Roc, such a good thrower

So it came to my attention that a Z Buzzz fan voted twice...

that puts it at

Your local beer that you love to death 9,000,000
Z Buzzz 12
GL Fuse 12
ESP Comet 7
X Buzzz 5
