2 guys one course

Me likes that. Heck, even the music ain't bad.

I suggest you repost this come winter time when many of us are having cabin fever so we can smile a bit.

Rare to catch a wedgie on video...but nope, not an ace unless this was filmed last year! :p

And I really enjoyed the video.

Really good vid - thanks for posting. This is my fav of the Rocky Mount courses, although I sucked it up last time up there, since this was the 4th of 4 on the day - I had nothing left.

It's a sweet little course...a little surreal, since I believe the course is played on a former housing development that was flooded by Hurricane Floyd. When I played it, i was wondering why the hell there were so many streets within the park (in a grid format) that went nowhere. Also, you can make out some foundations that used to exist.

You can see a ton of little things that were once part of a neighborhood. Driveways, parts of foundations, clothes line poles, BBQs, gardens etc...

A couple of months ago was teeing off on hole 4 and a car was in the fairway. Saw a family (mom, dad, and 2 girls). It was their car and they were in their old driveway. She was telling us about the flood. I told her about the DG course and how the PDGA had an event there a couple of months ago. She was astonished that something so bad produced something so good.

Using Google Earth's "time" feature I put together this image of the park from today and 1993 (6 years before the flood). Highlighted section is the current DG course.
