They really should have made the women points worth less or taken 2 points off for each place further down the standings instead of 1 . . . but they didn't so we are stuck with the rule as it was.

agreed. that's why i asked if i could make the MPO fixed score and the FPO position score.

my preference would be to only score MPO and have it as pick 5, score 5 with a substitute and a 1.5x captain multiplier. having FPO weighs it too heavily.

although, no matter how FPO weighs it, it's the same for everyone, so therefore it's equal for everyone... dunno. i'll let democracy rule on that issue.

There is the scoring option of 1 point per person beaten which we could switch to . . . that way you are playing top down not bottom up if you know what I mean. So the more women that show the more similar that pick is to the men but either way it is simply however many people are beaten

So apparently Josh Anthon is no longer playing. :wall: This is where I don't like the substitute thing. My substitute could only have a player rating as high as my lowest player, so now my picks suck. My substitute is a 990 rated player who is subbing for a 1035 rated player.

Expanding on my post above. I wish you could pick a sub for each of your players. That way I could have subbed someone with a more comparable player rating for Anthon.

I have Doss and Schusterick, both in top 5. I also have Val leading the ladies. My other two however... Seppo is killing me, +3? And my weak guy is doing as expected at +1

For the DGCR league I am doing alright but for the FDG Gold Tour I am doing excellent. I picked McBeth who is tearing up the courses this week. I also picked Doss and Locastro who are doing well. I also picked Clayton Adams who is rated 958 but is in 11th place right now. My woman's pick is Catrina Allen.
