I want a Swedish dyed disc but blue never comes right for me. I especially like how the three crowns are incorporated. Let me know if you are willing to do that again on my disc.

Thanks! Adding the 'Tre Kronor' was a last minute idea, I'm really happy with the way it came together. The blue is pretty dark IRL, I only let it sit in the dye for like maybe 15 minutes. I'd be happy to give it another shot on your disc, send me a PM and we can work something out...:thmbup:

The ace if spades was hand cut on the opto riot I hit my first ace with. The quad aces was plotter cut for me. 6 aces with that disc already this year!

Finnally ran out of old Rit and switched to iDye Poly.

First Run Crush with a pic of my friend on it. The iDye is much sharper and soaks in much faster!

after a long hiatus.

i got pretty impatient. there was supposed to be a lot more to this colorwise, but i realized i had already screwed it up (the colors) so i kept it simple. tried to freehand the disc - bad idea. might add some blue later on to make it seem like it's coming down out of/into the atmosphere, maybe try some red highlights. came out darker than i wanted it to.

love that most of the details in the middle came out clean. i love that tiny little intricate stuff. it's the most satisfying part of a dye job for me.

oh, i also forgot to mention i redid my FFX dye because i was so upset about not having it anymore. it's seen a decent amount of use so it's blurry/faded now, but meh.

unfortunately my color blending didn't go so well. and a couple bleeds. it's more intricate than the original one i did on my GL mace, though.
