I saw this at Academy Sports And Outdoors. You gotta love how the people are dressed on the box:

it looks kinda cheap and flimsy...but if it fits budget, it's gotta work...are those chains or yellow rope?

Haha, I saw this in a catalog we have at our store. The "chains" are a really flimsy, and seemingly extremely lightweight, nylon "rope".

I can't imagine this having any high speed catching ability.

Choosing my words wisely, Cost Effective may be the best way to describe this. Then again You will probably spend over $400 replacing these when they break so you are better off just getting one of the top quality baskets from DGA, Discraft or Innova.

You guys are forgetting something. This is Classic Disc golf, you know, the kind that sucked before they invented Modern disc golf

I think it's funny how the box says: "create a 9 hole course", yet it contains 1 basket and tee marker flags for 9 holes. Lookout John Houck, there may be a new batch of course designers competing with you by the time they're 15 yrs. old.

also: "Classic Disc Golf On the Fly"

It looks like the first time I attempt to throw a putter at it, it's going to fall over:( I'll take my Innova portable sport basket anyday over that thing:)

"On the fly" is 50's slang for cheap, commie piece of crap.

I actually played with this Wham-O mini basket when I worked at REI...

I was surprised at how much fun it was as an indoor target. It's the kind of thing you could have at the office.

When buying important things I like to think in terms of best value. This does not imply buying the best most expensive but rather purchasing something that has the best blend of cost and quality. So cheap is good as long as it is a quality you can live with, the highest quality is great if you can deal with the price. just things to keep in mind when looking at baskets or anything else in your life.

Nice putt, honey. ..... Its your turn to bathe the kids, read them stories and rock them to sleep. Leave the wine here, dear, while I practice my putting. Oh and make sure that Jason has his retainer in and Polly has logged off MySpace. O....and....Devon needs to get his underware in the hamper

As you wish...Buttercup.

The disc master looks REALLY ghetto. I have seen it in person.

Instep portable

The best basket that is closest to ones on the course for the best price is the instep portable basket. You can get it for about $90.
