I would cut a foot off the top of it and try to get a wider top piece and an even wider bottom piece. Other than that bravo! Looks pretty darn good for a Frankenbasket and just in time for halloween

that's the truth. it's only about 16" wide at the chain part. the top is just a 20" bike tire. i think i'm going to use the 24" mountain bike rim on top, make it more wide.

i'll take some more detailed photos of just how ghetto-rigged it is. the only things holding it together are:

duct tape
electrical tape
tons of zip ties
some golf tees
one bolt to keep the pole in place

moose, that's awesome! the badass thing is, you can always beef up the home made ones. i'm gonna put more chains and add some cushioning on the sharp edges. but i can't beat it, cost me exactly $0 and i didn't have to leave my yard to make it

haha. it's just a bunch of crap thrown together. bike rim for the top. chains from an old rusty winch, L-brackets for shelving, 100s of zip ties, tape, a pole, and a yard umbrella base

yeah the chains were the most expensive thing i had to buy.....i had alot of the pvc laying around along with screws and 3/4 plywood.
