New Ohio Courses

Whitehall (suburb of Columbus) is supposed to open a 9-hole sometime around Labor day. I've heard that they have the space to add 9 more if things work out.

Very excited about this. 4 miles from my house!

It's awesome to see a bunch of hungry Disc Golfers in Ohio, doing positive things in their respective communities. I've played over 160 Disc Golf courses in Ohio and look forward to playing more. Keep up the good flight and let's try to put more Disc Golf courses in the ground.

My friend and I, Hacker and Hyzer Disc Golf designers would love to hear from any Park departments or people that need help designing or getting a course installed in their park system. Just contact me here and we'll get something going for you------------------ - +

UPDATE: Whitehall 9 holer is awesome! Numbered baskets but no signs yet. Sponges, grippy tee pads, long and short. Wooded, wide open, and hole 3 throws straight down a hill for very ace-able fun hole. After hole 3, keep walking past the baseball field to the right! Loved it!

Thanks for the update. I guess they weren't lying about opening by Labor day. Can't wait to go check it out.

I was very impressed with the new 9 older. Leave your drivers at the house, but very fun pitch and putt. There will be a lot of aces on signature hole 3 straight down the hill. :D

May have to try it out when we get back in town! We should do a mini DGCR (Cbus eastsiders) meetup

Sounds cool man. I can't wait for them to add the back nine, hopefully soon. Loved the tee pads. My 16th course but first ever on that black, grippy stuff. I'd be down to meet up there sometime for sure.

I finally played the Whitehall course. It was fun but a bit hard to navigate. I like the long and short tees, on some holes the longs make for a distinctly different hole. #3 is nice, I had to empty my bag at it just for fun. I see some real potential with this course, hope they are able to add 9 more.

Agreed, but numbered baskets help out considerably, and once signs go in and hopefully another 9 soon, it will quickly jump into my top 5. Lots of variety already.

Played the new Whitehall course on Sunday. Glad to have another option within 20 minutes of home. It will be even better if they can add 9 more, but it is a very fun little course.
Has anyone heard any updates on the course in the works in the Belmont/Morristown area?

Is Whitehall listed on dice because I can't find it

i was just up at punderson yesterday and it looks like that are doing big things up there!

here is some clearing they are doing by hole #3

i also stopped by hudson and was completely impressed with the new back 9. it looks like it took hundreds of volunteer hours to make those fantastic new holes.

Punderson is looking good! All the teepads are poured and we are getting ready for our first sanction tourney in Oct.

oh, i didn't know they were cleared enough to play them... from a distance it looked like they were still under to heavy of a construction to be played.

i look forward to my next trip out there and i'll be sure to get a closer look then!

You can play the whole course from Blue, white and red. now its just cleaning, clearing and maintaining the course.
