Thanks, SW. I was watching the video and thought it looked much better as far as the whole motion goes, but i hadn't noticed the back foot still being an issue. I can see what you're saying, how the back foot is pointing almost in the exact opposite direction. Gotta work on that! Picturing it in...
Hi all, it's been a while since I posted a video for critique. I've been working on my form a lot and my distance has improved quite a bit. I'm getting my PD's out to about 350'-375' consistently (maybe a little more, never truly measured, just going by hole lengths). I have a D3 (don't use many...
Nice in-depth comparison of the G* PD's vs other runs/plastics from All Things Disc Golf. Their review team is made up of multiple different players of all skill levels, so they have a nice well-rounded opinion as opposed to something more focused on one player's power level. Check it out...
Great videos. Went back and looked at his "feet together" drill and am starting to understand your observations, SW. I know it'll be tough to implement changes with a run up, but I think you're right--definitely need to work on things from a stand still!
Thanks for your diligent work here on...
Hello all,
I've been spending most of my time around here lurking rather than posting, trying to improve my form. It's much improved from last year, but I've got some work to do for sure.
I've been playing for just over a year now, and I can consistently drive between 350' and 375' with my...
Hey guys,
Check out this Q&A I did with JohnE McCray over at All Things Disc Golf! It was pretty cool to get into his head a bit. Hope you all enjoy!

Hey MJ,
Any chance you'll be trekking up to Massachusetts for the Maple Hill Open this year? I know it's a long haul and you don't travel much, but a kid can dream, right?
2nd run C-FD's and S-FD's are like completely different discs. The 2nd run C-FD's are board flat and are more like a Teebird than a true FD (that's why they're making it into the FD2...from what I've read. In order to get the FD back to what it's supposed to be).
My S-FD is pop-toppy. Lots of...
Hey guys,
Check out my Texas States coverage over at All Things Disc Golf! Nice detailed recap of Men's open, Women's open, and some bits about Masters and Grandmasters.

Humdinger,
Go over to nefa.com and hit the forums tab. There is a section for every state in the forums and a sub-section for leagues. If you want to know when league is, that's the place to go.
That being said, I am pretty positive there are leagues at both of those courses!
Use the Nefa :)...
One thing to think about is that he may just be proud to be Discmania sponsored. Even though he could (maybe) have any Innova/Millenium mid, he might just want to use as much DM as possible for loyalty's sake
Good question. I have a seasoned S-PD that I generally release flat. It gives a bit of an S turn and gets out between 340'-360'. Sometimes I'll hyzer-flip it, but generally a flat release.
Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. I have a friend with a few destroyers so maybe I'll check those out...
Hey guys,
I know there are a bunch of threads like this, but I'm not entirely sure what to search for since each recommendation is different than others. Feel free to shut this down and tell me to search more ;)
Anyway, I followed the advice of some people on these forums and cut out the high...
