agreed. it's got to be the throw that "counts" on the card to count as an "ace", casual round or otherwise.

Cedarock, UNC, Valley Springs are all pretty close to I-40/85 on your way to/thru the Triangle. Cedarock has Wellspring on the same site. UNC has 3 other courses nearby, some better than others.

in my bag these days, i guess it's the XL. i don't see many people throwing them anymore, but it's still a standby for a good number of my throw choices. i've found it hard to lose the XL, as well as the the Aviar, despite embracing some of the newer molds.

crack the top 10 of the next division before you move up? that's a bit of a bar, no? if you consistently win your division, i would think you'd get bored and would want to move up.

My only experience any time in recent years is DGC, and I'm totally pleased with them.

Cedarock in Burlington UNC in Chapel Hill Valley Springs in Durham I've played Johnson St Park in High Point once and enjoyed it. I haven't played Lake's Edge in Reidsville yet, but it looks good.
