Well maintained.
Not a lot of course direction. Course is broken up into 3 sets. Holes 1-4, Holes 5-7, and Holes 8 & 9. The course actually doesn't tell you this anywhere though.

Just played Burchfield Park yesterday. Seriously one of the best courses I've played. I've only played at 10+ courses around the Southeast mostly, but this one takes the cake over all those.

The course is laid out very well. Nicely manicured areas and great landscaping around each hole and down the fairways.
The course is pretty 'open' with only a few holes within trees.
Great signage and pointers to all the tee boxes and pins.
Super friendly staff that drive around and ask for...
Columbia has a pretty active organization as well. It isn't the largest club, but they are pretty faithful to their club. They play singles, doubles each week, casual rounds at two different courses, and monthly tournaments as well.
Excited to hear that there are so many courses popping up in Michigan! I'll be moving to Mason, MI in late August (I've been called to be the pastor at All Saints Lutheran there) and I'm excited for all the courses within 20-25 minutes from Mason.
