2021 Elite Series and Majors schedule announced

A Tiers have been limited for at least the past few years. IMO it is ridiculous. If they want fewer they should raise the standards. It's not like they have any A Tier "brand" they are protecting at this point nor does the PDGA provide any support to them beyond what is provided a C Tier.

I believe the point is to protect the investment made by the TD. If you scrape together sponsors for the requisite added cash and then someone else throws an A tier down the street you would be splitting the player base and your efforts would be wasted.

I am not advocating for a free for all. Distance requirements between events would still apply as would the need for approval on the schedule.

Glad to see DGLO is on the list again. Nothing like watching the action up close and personal.

Thank you, I didn't see that nuance. Yes as long as the time and distance reqs are met it seems wholly unnecessary to have a strict numerical limit.

Without commenting on your opinion, the limit of around 100 looks to have started in 2017
