played my first 3 rounds with the Keen Targhee II mids i got for christmas. They are easily the best pair of non-sneaker footwear i've ever owned. Obviously i don't know much about the wear and tear. However, the weather went from freezing cold to barely above freezing and wet to snow and the Keens were warm and dry through all of it. insulated/waterproof etc. Comfort level was far above what i had expected as well. I'm lovin them!

I just started on my 3rd pair of Targhee II's . Love them. I get about 2 seasons out of a pair.

Thinkin bout getting some Nike Trail Runners. They're $45 at my work plus 15% employee discount. Comfortable and tons of traction. At the moment I use ES Square Twos..which are skate shoes haha
