The outside flap tucks in so it never gets in the way. I'm going to add a velcro strap over the putters so they son't slip out. The grippy putter stays put but the slick one always makes a run for it.
Inside storage pockets for easier access in large side pockets. This is where I keep my 6" phone. Deep large storage pockets for larger items like a sweatshirt.
Large drink holder can easily fit 1.5L water bottles and extra nylon strap can hold umbrellas, extra seats, extending pole, etc. if desired. Two pencil/pen holders on each side.
Extra large shoulder straps are 4" wide and filled with 1" foam. Extra layer of fabric underneath to prevent water from gettinh inside foam. D-rings, hooks, nylon straps, and other connectors on straps. Storage for sewn-in rain fly behind straps. Back has corrugated sign board material for sturdy but lightweight design with 1" foam padding for comfort.
View of the top open with visible seat cushion and top of frame. Seat is 1/4" plywood and 3" open cell foam. 4" padding would have been too thick and 2" would have been hard. The seat is stapled to the plywood with cloth and fitted with nylon to hold in place.
Magnets are sewn in to the rain fly and bag in four spots as connection points. The rainfly should be easy to open and close without having to worry about buttons or velcro. It has not been tested with wind but if it is that rainy and windy, everything will get wet anyway.
