As long as people play disc golf, we should get some really good stories.
My brother surprised me the other day on the course.
Let me start by saying my brothers wife has a pet rabbit, and I think it might have rubbed off on him. We were on #11 on my home course, River Grove , in Kingwood, TX. Its a heavily wooded course, so you never know what is going to come out of the woods. As we walked up the fairway to take our second shot, I see some movement in the brush on the fairway. Thinking it might be a snake, I stop and look very carefully. I notice its a small rabbit, and he is not running from us, he is just looking at us.
I told my brother, "hey, check out the rabbit". My brother looks and all of the sudden, what came out of his mouth shocked me. Now, my brother is 6'2, about 250lbs, drives a truck delivering and unloading big gas cylinders. A big guy most people would be afraid of. All of the sudden I hear "Awe, look at the little bunny, he is so cute. I gotta take his picture" . I just stood there, not saying anything, but in total disbelief. I had no idea he liked rabbits. He sounded like a little girl when he said it though. I didn't want to piss him off, so I just kept my laughter inside, and we kept playing. Must say, that was odd.
