Also Cut your big pieces of vinyl occasionally so they don't get restuck to your disc where you don't want it to.

Could you elaborate here? I am not sure what you mean. Like chop up the bigger pieces I'm going to need to weed?

Correct. When you start to weed large sections they can get too cumbersome to work with. So every so often you want to stop and cut pieces off so it's easier to hold without dropping sticky vinyl onto your already weeded areas.
