Did snowboarders come out with a "Skiing is Dead" product line? Or did they work with skiers so they'd understand their sport and end up making both sports better?
And there's a LOT less interaction between disc golfers and traditional golfers than between snowboarders and skiers. We end up sounding like a bunch of petulant children who are mad because our favorite sport isn't as accepted as someone else's.
And, FWiW, the fruit in the Garden of Eden was not an apple at all. The word 'apple' is not in Genesis at all, in fact, and where English renders the term "apple tree" it's actually more likely a different variety of fruit (probably pomegranate).
