hey guys, i just found this the other day and all it says is prototype...it feels almost exactly like a OOP flat top rock, but it is more firm than the ones i have had. the bottom says 180+ then there is a "S" under that, and below that there is a small "x" kinda further, i dont know if it is related or someone else drew that on there...anyways here is a pic. it isnt the prettiest thing but, to my suprise, it flies like a beauty. any info on it would be much appreciated thanks in advance!!

Well, lets see...OK, no clue. I'll guess anyway.

The "S" is the kind of plastic, SureGrip. That tells us nothing in regards to what mold it is.

The stamp is the typical prototype Gateway stamp. So far it could be anything.

The fact that it is very stiff means...that it's a Gateway disc. The Viagra plastic strikes again! :D

The fact that you say it feels like a flat top Roc makes no sense to me, as none of the Gateway discs feel like a Roc in the hand to me. However, based on that and the X I'd have to guess Element X. The disc in the picture doesn't look like an EX to me, but it's hard to tell from the top.

Any chance you can take a picture of the profile?

Shortly I'll be asleep. I'll check back tomorrow. Maybe someone else will know.

ok i lied, it is 179(4?) not 180+ lol but here are the pictures. in some it is next to an aviar, just to help you get an idea of its size and shape...

I'll still go with Element X. From the top it looked more driver-like, but from the profile it looks like the EX. The EX has the bigger diameter as well, like the disc in the picture. The wild-crazy guess I had was the Hatchet, which was a never-approved GDS proto, but the Hatchet was a pre-Demon disc and would have a diameter about the same size as the Aviar. The disc in the picture clearly has a much larger diameter like the Element X.

I'm not exactly a GDS savant, though. The jury should still be considered out. If anyone else has a better idea, please post.

Not that this is a help but it has the same profile as my Latitude core in the flight plane...Was not the Element X the new warrior? Might be right.

I can't tell you what disc it is, but by looking at the rim, its definitely a midrange.
