I've seen some posts about people saying they set up a portable in their basement. Other than rain, why would setting up indoors be a good idea?

Dark Outside - Rain - Sleet - Snow - Hail - Cold Weather.

That video is pretty cool, but it seems tight in there. With all the old, LONG, empty steel buildings that were in Bethlehem, I think they would have been a prime location for an indoor disc golf course. Instead we got a casino.

Inside I can easily putt inbetween whatever I'm doing.
Outside I have to set aside time.

I have both.

I live in a condo and don't have my own yard, so I putt in my basement (up to about 28ft) or bring my basket in my car, drive somewhere, set it up.....

Well, for starters...

I have a garage that is just under 20' long.
Needless to say, I'm a lock on any putt inside 20'.
If only my garage was 50' long, I could turn pro...

My son and I always talk about an urban disc golf course. An abandoned factory or mill would be ideal. Someday......
The down side to a true indoor course would be cost. Other than that it would be so sweet.

Friends and I used to play through the corridors late at night on our college campus... we used Ultimate lids for safety reasons. Usually got kicked out, but not always. All the buildings connected by underground tunnels and floors connected by open atriums and massive stairwells. We'd have holes that would start three floors up and end up in a basement hallway somewhere three buildings away... it is AMAZING how far a lid will glide on a freshly waxed hallway floor... 400+' of glide if you pured your lines. Some of the most fun rounds of my life -- object golf or otherwise.
