In my shiny new Octothorpe:

3 Two-Line AJ Destroyers OR 3 PFN Star Wraiths, depending on my mood (179g-175g).

2 Patent # SPDs, 171g (fresh and seasoned)
1 1.1 QOLF, 175g
1 1.1 SOLF, 170g

2 TBs (175 Champ Color Glow beef and a beat 167 Star)
2 1.2 QJLSs (174 stable and 172 turnover)

1 San Marino Q-Sentinel, 176g
1 2004 USDGC Champion Rancho Roc, 180g
1 2008 Champion San Marino Roc, 180g
1 Comet, 177g

1 LE Glo Z Zone
1 Champion Ontario Classic Roc
1 Champion Ontario Rhyno
2 Wizards

FB switches in for one PD and a Gator goes in if the wind howls.

Very nice lineup. Scale didn't make the cut?

Actually, I threw it this weekend. I can switch back and forth between the Scale and Rhyno without really missing a beat. And I do like the Scale for running at scary putts, especially long jumpers that hyzer out. But I sortof prefer the Rhyno off the tee.

I hear you on the Rhyno. I used to throw Rhynos a bit and they are great. The Fossil plastic is what sold me on the Scale for that slot. I am a sucker for nice baseline stuff, though.

Love the Fossil plastic and the similarity to my putting and throwing Wizards, but the Scale is slower and beefier - i.e. shorter.

I'd really like to get simpler over this winter:

3 *DS Destroyers (168g-174g).

1 Sexton Firebird, 175g
1 Patent # SPDs, 171g
1 1.1 QOLF, 175g
1 1.1 SOLF, 170g

1 Champ Color Glow TB, 175g
2 1.2 QJLSs (174 stable and 172 turnover)

1 San Marino Q-Sentinel, 176g
1 2004 USDGC Champion Rancho Roc, 180g
1 Big Bird Champion SM Roc, 176g
1 2008 Champion San Marino Roc, 176g

1 LE Glo Z Zone
1 Champion Ontario Rhyno
1 Recon Tank
2 Wizards

Still also toying with the Champ Classic Roc, breaking in a new SPD, and a Gator goes in if it howls.

Stop carrying so many Rocs. You know you don't need them all, fancy boy.

Zone/Rhyno feels like overkill.

Actually looking for some advice:

3 *DS Destroyers (159 BEEFY, 168g still OS, 171g beat toflippy)

1 Sexton FB
1 Patent # SPD, 171g (BEEFY freshness)
2 1.1 QOLFs, both 175g (1 fresh and 1 seasoned -- only need the seasoned one but I am breaking the freshie in)
1 1.9 SOLS, 175g (Sky annys, and flip to flat for tunnels with late turn)

1 Champ color glow Teebird, 175g (Pretty darned OS)
1 1.2 QJLS, 174g (stable, flip to late fade)
1 1.1 CE QJLS, 172g (flippier than 1.2s, turnovers and flip to late turn)

1 San Marino Q-Sentinel, 176g (Beefier and longer than a Roc)
1 2004 USDGC Champion Rancho Roc, 178g (Solidly OS Roc)
1 2008 Champion San Marino Roc, 176g (Straight, workable Roc)
1 Ti Comet, 177+g (Comet!)

1 Recon Tank, 175g (Beefy enough, but workable for drives and longer ups)
1 PFN Star Aviar P&A, 172g (Straight or turnover drives and longer ups)
2 Wizards, 175g (All putting and shorter ups)

1 LE Glo Z Zone goes in too, if it is windy.

I really lean on my control drivers, and the *DSs really only come out when distance is more important than good control -- basically, in the rare instance where those 25 feet are going to give me a different look or a makeable birdie try. If I'm just going to be throwing a slightly longer upshot either way, I stick with a control driver. Fairways for standstills or shorter technical drives.
And I am perfectly happy with my mids and putters.

So what would you drop?
I'd like to carry fewer this spring with more room for icy beverages. I often think I could drop the OLS and Teebird, but then I go out and use each one virtually every round. I know 19 ain't crazy, but still...

Could you go from Destroyer to Firebird-Eagle-teebird? Or maybe better yet for flexing wooded lines, firebird-eagle-leopard (or fd).

I'd assume you've tried this (and maybe that's what the ojlsqlf 1.1.2 Jazz is all about, I don't know) :)

I've also found that from playing Trojan, McCormick, Hornings and Buxton, and pier, Milo and Blue Lake is that the bag can definitely vary from course to course.

It's the archer AND the arrow from my experience here.

No doubt. More often than anything else, I'll just leave my Destroyers in the car at many courses, and stick a Zone in for tricky woodsy flex shots. I can think of maybe two tees on all 54 holes at Hornings where I'd throw a Destroyer. 2, maybe 3 at Pier. None at McCormick. Maybe one at Buxton. But TONS of Destroyers at Milo and Blue Lake....

Anyway, not dropping speed 9/10 control drivers as a class. They do more work than anything except my putters.

PS. Been too long. We need to get a round in soon buddy.

So I'm switching out to my Spider Monkey for the next couple weeks, at least, while I break in some new plastic and just for a little change of pace:

Nice, love that the Leopard is getting some action. So much great control to be had with the Leo's.

Our park course is supposed to change back to the Summer layout any day now. As soon as my ankle feels solid, I'll be out testing those Comets. Even after just a few field throws with the White ESP, I'm looking forward to tossin' them around.

Leopard obviates the Comet.
