"Swamp"? That's Jim Mozola Memorial DGC (Bayou Course).

The park has undergone some pretty major changes recently with clearing along the bayou.

You can see right above the tape on the left of the tree where the disc hit. Oh so close to a target ace with no witnesses.

The Dynamic Discs Showdown at the Lodge was held saturday 3/19/11, it is one of the stops on the dirty dozen tour. The Lodge will also be the be used for the finale in October. It was quite the day...
mid 50's to low 60's with a mixture of sun, wind, rain, thunder, lightning and hail! The tourney was about 2 holes in when the rain moved in. This put a hold on the action for a while till the storm moved on. The rest of the day turned out nice and Paul Ulibarri took the win. More pics can be found here...

Fire ants in Texas are awful! To be honest I may have just left the disc. :\ I have had too many bad experiences with fire ants there.

So let's say you're playing a dogleg left blind hole and your disc gets wedged into the front-right side of the basket. It's obvious it was wedged coming from the outside going in, but nobody actually saw it because it is a blind hole. Is this an ace?
