Cool photo, I was expecting to see Cha-Ka in there somewhere.

Dr. Rick Marshall: Field rations are running dangerously low. Thusly, I've made the determination that, if need be, if faced with starvation, we will cook and eat Chaka. I've been thinking about this a lot, actually. If Chaka meat were the secret ingredient on Iron Chef, I'm sure Bobby Flay would probably serve it with roasted red peppers and a dash of cumin and a braised polenta. It wouldn't be an easy thing to do, but if you slow roast the little guy, I'm sure that Chaka meat would just fall right off the bone.

Not a great quality shot, but we ran into this guy playing Hoover the other night. I got pretty close, then he flew right over my head.

Completely silent, and pretty darn big!

BTW, the "Critters" thread was closed, so I thought I'd post here.

(edited to remove large picture, since it's so crappy)

This thread, http://www.dgcoursereview.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15133&highlight=black+squirrel+rare&page=120, is closed? I didn't try to reply but I didn't see that it was closed. Or were you referring to a different thread? Just wondering.
