I'm bringing this thread over from my Reddit form check. So I'll do my best to bring over the content of the reddit thread to here in this post, and then move forward here.
Here is the original Form check video I posted:

and my starting comment on it:
And here is the thread between Sidewinder22 and I.

and my starting comment on it:
I'm trying to learn to form check myself, and get more distance and accuracy out of my drives. Here is a sequence of 5 throws with my drivers (20 year old Archangel, 160g Avenger SS, 167g Valkyrie (brand new), a relatively new 175g Beast, and a 175g Thunderbird). Those throws all landed between 250 & 320, the Thunderbird hitting around 250, the Beast and Valkyrie between 270-280, and the understable discs maxing out at 320 (but generally around 300).
I'd love any feedback, but even more so I'd like to learn what to look for. I'm getting a driving net setup in the backyard once it arrives, and I'd love to be able to critique myself rather than having to flood Reddit with form checks. Any tips on drills to focus on would be good too.
What I think I'm seeing (please correct me if I'm wrong here):
I'm still rounding/hugging myself and getting the disc behind my body and not getting my reach back all the way back
My head isn't getting back around much, I'm trying to keep my eyes downfield
I'm not staying upright, am I leaning too far back into the reach back? And then I'm leaning through the release
And here is the thread between Sidewinder22 and I.

Stop x-stepping. Work on the fundamental part of the throw.

I'm trying to focus on the second video, and how the loading the back leg is suppose to feel. I think I'm seeing the crease, but should I be "sitting down"/pushing my butt back into that when you are talking about internal hip rotation? https://youtu.be/Q5xfv9jPqZs?t=225 I'm trying to figure out what "right" feels like. Are either of these right?
Rotating back
Rotating back, focusing on "sitting" into it
Sidewinder22:
First one looked better, smoother. Second one looks like you are over-reaching back. Your lead shoulder needs to drop back underneath the trail shoulder, so lead side gets shorter and trail side taller/post up to swing against in backswing. You will want to open up your front foot for this drill.

Should I be consciously lift the outside shoulder or just focusing on getting the lead shoulder under? The stairs drill is tough around here, I'm in a one story and can't even think of where the closest staircase might be. But I see what you are doing there and going to try to find one.
I've got my first tournament on Saturday, a charity event for a local disc golfer who was in an accident, but after that I'm really going to focus on taking apart my drive and starting from 0.
Sidewinder22:
Swing Lead shoulder under. Trail shoulder/arm is the post/pole the lead shoulder/arm swings around like a tetherball.
You can do Swivel Stair with one stair or cinder block, small bucket, big downhill slope. etc.

I'm getting to do the Swivel Stair on a hill, but that is difficult to video with my camera stand.
Here's where I am on dingle-arm. https://gfycat.com/limpingadolescentdore. Do I still want to drop the front shoulder more? Should leaning over it, trying to find what is right so I can get the feeling on what is right down.
Here's crush the can. I had real problems with crush the can where I couldn't get my heel high enough and when it crushed down the can squirted out. Now it feels like I've got the crush down but I crush it and stop instead of completing the flow. The first gif is with a disc in hand, I think I was focusing to much on what I was doing with the disc and ended up really disconnected. The second gif I dropped the disc and tried to flow better.

PS - would it be easier if I'm move this discussion to the dgcoursereview forum? I'd like to keep progressing and not sure which will work better.

DA - shoulder looks ok, but your stance looks a little too wide and pigeon toed and weird with your rear hand on your hip - rear elbow should be in or hanging next to body. Bring your heels closer to together under the hips and toes keep toes where they are so your feet are more flared out from each other instead of perpendicular. Might be swinging too fast, let gravity do the work on the way down and then feel where you can boost it targetward near the bottom. Try going all the way around overhead/windmill and also try some in slow motion. Relax and focus on swing to the target, like hammering a nail.
CC - You are turning open into the can and your arm/disc is going forward way before you crush. No need to swing the arm at all in this drill - keep it back. Crush the can and stop while your body /arm are still turned back away from target. Stance should start like DA feet flared out and front foot turns back while striding into can. You can crush something smaller, smaller can, cigarette pack etc. just want to feel like all your weight is crushing thru something the last 1-2" drop into the plant.
DGRC is better.
me:
Okay, I'll move over to DGRC for the next form video.
DA - the pigeon toed thing is funny because I'm actually pigeon toed (born with them faced all the way in), so we'll see how far I can get them out. Rear hand on hip was me trying to feel the hip and crease, I'll drop it in now that I feel like I'm getting a better feel for it.
CC - Got it, that helps a lot on understanding where the crush comes in the timing.
