How many people here have thrown the groove vs just hate it because everyone does? Not trying to doubt peoples dislike, just seems like everyone got suckered into buying one.

It sounded like a pretty good disc before it came out. Longer than the Destroyer and easier to throw than the Boss? Sweeet! Just not the case though. Now that every company has multiple high speed flippy drivers it seems like, "why the hell would you buy a Groove?", but in 2008 or w/e it was supposed to be the fastest and "most throwable" speed 13 driver. Lots of people bought them.

So reading through the pages I have 3 of the discs in my bag that people seem to hate. Dragon, I can sort of see why. But why the Kite? And especially why the Birdie? Sorry, I havve not been playing long enough to understand I guess.

I hate the Kite. If I want that much glide and understability, I'd much rather throw a lid.

Wow I throw some discs on here that some do not like. How can anyone not like the dart? Rhyno also, ill admit its not a great disc but it does come in fairly handy.


Anyways my list is

1) Groove
2) Gator
3) Mako (I own one but They're basically coyotes)
4) Valkyrie (I know a lot like this disc but I just cant control it)
5) spider (going to give it a chance to redeem itself)
6) banshee
7) starfire

That's all I could think of, I really don't dislike the discs I mentioned but they are just ones I either never got the hang of or just I couldn't control them, I'm sure that's user error though.

I sit back and ask why? The teerex has a ton of glide and breaks in to be super sweet. Why not substitute the FL, that's a POS disc.

You guys listing the wedge every try one? They're one of my favorite discs I don't carry. My buddy has a seasoned star that's nice and flexible and it's awesome for gentle turnover drives and laser approaches fh or bh.

It's trendy to hate it, that's all.

It's not that bad of a disc. They're pretty long, straight and controllable in calm conditions. People just jumped on the bandwagon that started when someone said they mold up inconsistently. They do, but so do a lot of Innovas discs, some worse than the Groove from my experience (Katana, Destroyer etc.).

At this point it's nothing more than a meme imo.
