Max weight for overstable forehand drivers and putters. Mids 175-177. Backhand drivers I like 165-167.

My putters are all 174g except the Z Zone which is 172-173g
My fairways are all 169-173g and the Banshee is 172g
My drivers are between 171-173g
My rocs vary depending on stability....they range from 175 to 180g
The Sentinel is 174g
The Champ Stingray is 180g

I always thought anything below 170 was too light for a mid. Then I weighed my workhorse mid (QMS) and found that it was only 167 grams.

The faster the disc the lighter.

Putters max, mids low 170s, drivers 165-169

Expected to see a whole lot more people throwing only max weight. I guess the pissing contest days are over... I try to keep my putters and mids pretty heavy, and my drivers in the high 160's.

Putters: Max
Mids: 170+
Drivers: 164-172

Drivers over 170 seem to fly out of my hand just fine, then drop out of the sky like a shot quail toward the end. I guess I just don't have the power for them.

Everything I throw is 170+. All my putters are 175g. My mids range between 174-180 and my drivers are 171-175.

For me, anything in the 160's feels like it'll flip over too easy when I try to max it out with power, or it doesn't fly as consistent in windy conditions.

The downside is it can be a PITA to throw brand new plastic, as they tend to be even more over stable at max weight, particularly the drivers. But there's nothing I like more than a seasoned max weight wraith or destroyer.

I throw 175-180 mids, 172-175 putters, 165-170 control drivers and a couple blizzard distance drivers under 150, so all of the above.

Distance drivers - 168-172g. I seek out a specific run of 168g *DS that flat out bomb.

Fairways - 165-170g. The best I've thrown is a 167g KC Pro TB. Also dig a 166g 11x Eagle L.

Mids - Prefer max weight, but have been digging a 170g barstamp Buzzz.

Putters - Max weight for inside the circle, 165ish for outside.

I try to stay away from max weight drivers. I've weighed quite a few from several different companies and a decent number of those scaled out to 177+. Usually stick to 170-172.

172-175 for drivers.

Max weight for everything else. I have a few mids at 167 and one or two drivers at that weight though.

Putters: Max weight, except for a DX Aviar in the 165-170 range for floaty upshots and short range US duties.
Mids: 175-180
Fairways: 170-175, Teebirds can cover a variety of lines from a DX one at 170 to a JL one at 175. Firebird is 175 to ensure maximum beefiness. PD's are the same, lighter P Line and heavier S Line.
Max D: 165-170, with one fresh max weight for long range beef.
