Now extinct, it's now the El Rio Open Space Preserve. The town of Marana is placing a bike path which interferes with a few holes although 16 are still playable but if you're brave you can still play 18. Hole 5 is on an island that's reachable by foot but the risk for losing a disc is pretty high. Hole 6 is adjacent to the lake as well. There's a plan ready to make a new 27 hole course adjacent to the El Rio Preserve but there's a snag in the paperwork in that part of the land is owned by Marana and the rest by Pima County and the two entities have butted heads politically in the past so it's taking longer than it should to wrap up the paperwork.
