Pros:

Appears the course has not been reviewed in four years, so here is an update:

The course is out there for the public to view and not too difficult should they decide to give the sport a try! Ballard is a nice course to introduce new players. It's good for skilled players needing to work on their short game. A round can be completed in under an hour. Holes are laid out well to provide a variety of shots.

Cons:

Park traffic can make players "wait" every now and then before throwing.

Other Thoughts:

Convenient for a quick round. Great for families, strollers, youth groups to experience the game. Fun too!

Pros:

An excellent beginner's course. Even the first-timer can get a few pars. For the amateur, every hole is birdiable with a controlled tee shot.

Cons:

Pedestrian traffic comes into play on the back nine, especially during soccer season. It is managable, but expect a occasionable minute or two wait. On the rare occasion, you may have to skip a hole or two. Don't let this keep you away though.

Other Thoughts:

Natural tees have become depressions on some holes, holding water. Hopefully, the city will recognize the amount of use and allow concrete pads to be poured.
