Pros:

Hi folks, saw some poor reviews / experiences and wanted to reach out as a voice of the camp arrowhead staff and community to lend a little more info about the course. As of right now, we run the course as a part of our summer camp program, and don't allow public to play. There are a few reasons for this, mostly due to upkeep and privacy. For instance, during summer months there are ~200 kids running around the camp and it's just not safe or feasible to have an open course.

As for the course itself ( and a proper" review"). HEAVILY wooded, plus countless cabins and structures just off the fairway. Lots of shots end up in trees/bushes, marsh grass, or rooftops. Course is designed for noodle armed 10 year olds to play with flimsy little frisbees. As an avid disc golfer all over DE and Southeast PA, I would not recommend this course, not the most fun or well designed.

Now the good news. Some current and former staff have done some fundraising and are looking to upgrade the course to 18 holes, plus polish up the front 9. After that is complete there are thoughts of opening up the course a few weekends in the spring and fall, perhaps with lodging as an option as well. Any updates on that I will gladly post here as this is a great website and resource for the discerning golfer. Hope to see you on the links sometime in the near future!

Cons:

As mentioned above, this course is currently not open to the public and is not recommended you try to play

Other Thoughts:

Stay tuned for updates on improvements and openings!!

Sand, ticks, lost discs & where am I going? 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 27, 2007 Played the course:never

Pros:

Challenging holes, some because of the odd shrubbery some because you don't know where you're throwing.

Cons:

$8 to play. VERY poorly marked & crossing holes (first 10 holes). Both times I played I came back with ticks and lost discs.
