Pros:
- Parking close to tee for hole #1 and basket #18
- Well manicured & groomed area
- 2 tee pads for each hole
- Quality baskets
- Clever course layout
- Easy to add safari tees/holes

Cons:
- Has rubber tee pads which are altright. Cement pads would add a lot to quality of play
Other Thoughts:
All around great course! Also, it is only a 10 minute drive to the course in Hibbing. Easy to get in a round at each in an afternoon.

Other Thoughts:
Chisholm DGC is fun pitch and putt course that plays along Lonyear Lake just minutes from Hwy 169. If you enjoy short and easy courses then Chisholm DGC is for you. If you prefer playing a challenging championship-style DG course then perhaps you may find this course to be slightly boring.
All the baskets are custom American-themed Discraft Chainstars with a red basket and blue top. For better or worse the teepads are all rubber. These rubber teepads are nice to throw on when dry but during rain/snow they can become very slippery.
The front 9 of the course plays on the SE corner of the lake while the back 9 plays on the SW corner of the lake. To the best of my knowledge there's only one hole that might exceed 350ft. Nearly every hole is wide open with the exception of a few wooded holes adjacent to the lake. Since the majority of the holes are less than 300ft there's many opportunities for aces and birdies throughout. Every hole on the front 9 has a detailed sign showing an overhead view of the hole as well as distance info. Although all the baskets on the back 9 are in position they still lack signage, teepads, and general maintenance. Considering this course is only 1 year old it is still in development but I would imagine the other half of the course will be completed next spring.
Since the course is still in development and still needs many improvements I gave this course a 3.5/5. For the small area of land given to work with I thought the designers did an excellent job creating a fun course that has great flow and is aesthetically pleasing.
