Course is Unplayable 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 10, 2019 Played the course:once

Cons:

Missing baskets, hard to find tees, flooded in areas, overgrown, too close to roads and parking lots.

Other Thoughts:

This course shouldn't be advertised right now. Hopefully they will rebuild it once they are done with their construction

OMG. This Is Crazy 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 11, 2017 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Its close to where I work

Cons:

If you like hitting cars and buildings, people that don't know what disc golf is This is a great place. Its very easy to throw into busy roads and parking lots and rivers. This is laid out pretty bad. I feel like 18 holes is way too many. They have the room for a nice 9 hole course but with 18 they are placing baskets wherever they can whether you have to throw across a busy parking lot and along a busy main road I've cut my play down to 8 holes there.

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 12, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Baskets-- DisCatchers all present and accounted for. all in good shape and nice and visible in some thicker woods.

Teesignage-- well, it has a number and distance and rough diagram of the course in sharpie. better than nothing...

Cons:

Aesthetic-- plays through busy campus sections for much of the course, when it's not playing in busy campus sections, it's playing along the river, over a creek and 3/4 of a mile down 10 mile.

Routing and Nav-- without the map, forget it. the teepole for #14 has some rough directions to #15 on it... keep in mind #15 is 3/4 of a mile down 10 mile... hell, at least there are sidewalks.

Hole 2-5 and on to 6-- hole #2 plays over a parking lot which (according to the last review and my experience) has cars in it a lot.. 3-4-5 play on the strip of land between the parking lot and m10 service drive. Awful design, hell at least the old course had only 2 on these islands... The walk to six may as well be a contact sport. Not only do you have to walk down the service drive but for a good portion of it, there is no bike lane in which to walk. There was no chance in hell I was taking my kid in a stroller down that.. The other option was the walk across the river flats (which is still there, it's where #11 and 12 are) which takes you down stairs, which is no fun with a stroller and over a bridge with steps up and down. And then there's the walk to 15 and the creek on 16.

The creek on 16-- there is absolutely no way to cross this muck creek without soaked feet. There is no bridge and with a stroller, no way to cross. I walked through the woods down a "goat path" and found an easier crossing but it's still a pain in the ass.

Other Thoughts:

I thought this might be better than it used to be, I was right. There are some glimmers of hope here but for the most part, it's as bad as it used to be...

Sad excuse for a disc golf course... 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 28, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Good course conditions... For the first 2-3 holes.

Cons:

TERRIBLE layout.

The baskets and tee boxes are sprinkled in an area that's overly busy with campus buildings and parking lots.

One of the tee boxes (4th or 5th hole?) played directly over a parking lot - no big deal if you can clear it. On this day, there was a truck with attached trailer parked DIRECTLY in front of the tee box. Again, no big deal, I just launched over the truck - his fault for parking there if i hit it... After doing so, i heard my disc crash into a car that was parked on the other end of the lot - the car was completely hidden by the truck... After that, we were met with a basket landing area smaller than my bedroom that backed up to a busy street.

The next hole was a long par 5 down a VERY narrow patch of grass. This patch of grass was lined with a busy street on the left, and a parking lot on the right just waiting to chew the edges off your disc. Play it down the middle of the grass right? WRONG, the grass patch is lined with full pine trees the entire length of the hole. This forces you to throw out into the parking lot (damaged disc after 2 throws) and then back towards the basket.

After playing these 2 hole back to back and not being able to locate the next tee box we decided to quit and drive over to Firefighter's Park.

Other Thoughts:

Would not play here again OR recommend it to anyone!
