Other Thoughts:

This is a brand new course still in the planning stages. Not quite developed enough for Pros and Cons, but certainly wort saying a few words.

The space here is beautiful. I was lucky enough to meet up with some locals that have a set group of objects and tee areas to play--otherwise there are no markings.

The course that these guys played was a lot of fun though. A lot of elevation changes, some challenging distances, and a good mix of long open holes and shorter, tree filled holes. Also some spectacular views of the ocean and old Monterey. The wind was a significant factor the day I played, so bring some overstable discs. Also, the layout I played had some gnarly OB to watch out for (thick woods, black berry, etc).

A little tough to find though. If you're coming from the 1, stay on lighthouse through the tunnel. When you get to Reeside Ave, make a U-turn. Private Bolio is the 1st right, then Corporal Ewing is an immediate left. Otherwise you'll be driving onto a military base (and expect some confused looks from the guard if you tell him you're looking for the disc golf course).

Final thoughts: a great place to play if you're with someone who knows the layout. If not, still beautiful, but you'll have to pick your own targets. Thanks to the group that I played with.
