Pros:

There is good variety of shots here: right to left, left to right, up, down, air it out, low ceiling. Most holes have multiple lines to choose from, but some do have restricted lines with the basket being tucked into the woods. For the most part, I play it and think "this is a disc golf hole" and not "someone installed a basket-the end."

Compared to other 9-hole courses out in the middle of nowhere with natural tees, this course has better navigation. I still needed to use UDisc, but there are posts with the hole number at each tee (some tees are marked by little flags, too), and the double-mando signs on hole 1 are easy to spot.

Picnic tables and (I think) campgrounds are nearby. It's definitely secluded, though. you'll probably have the course to yourself when you play here. I think the grass is mowed consistently here (wasn't super tall when I played but the mower-guy was starting to mow right after I finished my round).

Cons:

The baskets are hand-me-down Mach III's, and are quite rusted and past their prime. The tees are natural. Non-grass mowing maintenance seems quite lackluster: shin-high grass on the last 100 ft of hole 1, I think a tree is down on hole 2 which pretty much prevents the hole from being played as intended.

Hole 1 has a ten foot wide double-mando over 300 ft away from the tee. I mean, it's definitely the optimal gap to use, but there's absolutely no reason at all for there to be a double (or even single)-mando there.

The grass itself seemed pretty dead for significant portions of the course.

You can see hole 6's basket from 5's tee, but not 5's basket as it is a dogleg right.

Several holes play close to park roads or signs, but honestly this place seems so deserted that I don't think it's actually an issue.

Other Thoughts:

It was evident that someone's cattle had gotten out and decided to play some disc golf a few months ago based upon the occasional cow-patty I would find thought the course.

The infrastructure here is definitely what holds this course back. The holes themselves are designed pretty solidly.

On its own, this course is nothing special. However, University Park (an excellent and challenging course) is only like ten minutes away, and the state parking pass that you need for UP is good here, too, so hitting both in one trip is definitely a solid idea. I played here first, and I would definitely recommend coming here first and using this place as a warm-up before heading over to UP.

There's basically just road-side parking (for only a handful of cars) here, and the tee for 1 is right next to it, and hole 9 ends pretty close as well.
