Pros:
This course is located on the south side of the school. Typical WI school style course. This one benefits from having a little bit of elevation, but gets docked for a lack of trees. So pretty standard fare around here.
The baskets are Discatchers. A little on the older side but they're Discatchers, they get the job done and catch nicely. One basket and pin position per hole.
As I mentioned above, there's a little bit of elevation here. Holes 2 and 6 both play uphill, Hole 9's basket is perched pretty close to the edge of the top of the plateau. If I remember correctly there are 2 trees in play as well. One each on holes 2 and 5.
The course starts and ends by the parking lot. It's free to play, permanent and never going to be busy. Should't take a solo player more than 20 minutes to play.
Cons:
Hole 1 is essentially a jump putt. Complete filler hole to get you to the "good" stuff. I'd guess it's 50 or so feet.
The layout makes sense once you play it, but it's a little confusing with so many baskets visable at various points. If you have Udisc the map makes it pretty simple though.
The top of the hill holes didn't seem like they drained very well. Not too crazy but it was definitely swampy up around holes 7 and 8.
No tee pads or even markings for them, signs or anything other than baskets basically.
Only playable when school's not in session and on weekends.
Other Thoughts:
There's a course here. If you happen to be in the area, this one is actually the better of the two. And by quite a bit. Quick play and is fun enough for what it is.
The course is designed for middle school kids and it does a good job in that regard. 1.5 it is. It's passable for what it's there for.
