Pros:
Any course is better than no course. Course does have potential for significant improvements. Apparently, development was volunteer driven (BSA Eagle Scout project with many donors). Tee boxes are ok (black rubber matting with hole number leading toward general direction of cage). #7, #8 & #9 are fun. Mix of prairie and woods throughout the course is good.
Cons:
There was no signage, maps or scorecards. The holes in the woods are ridiculously narrow and have many trees and shrubs that need removal or extensive pruning (3, 4, 5 & 6 cage). We lost one disc on #2 tee off, in the massive thicket to the left and short of cage, it needs removal or significant thinning. #9 ends way out in the boonies, it's a bummer to have walk all the way back to #1 and parking lot.
Other Thoughts:
Make these suggested improvements to the nine holes, then add a second nine and we'll definitely be back. The second nine needs to end near the first tee box.
