Pros:

-Great views of the Alps.
-Pretty setting
-Beer garden/restaurant right there. Which also means open restrooms. In germany if they serve beer, their restrooms are free and open to the public.
-No traffic on course.
-Pretty decent variety of shots. Left, Right, Up, Down,Open, Wooded, Long, Short.
-Hole 3: Nice downhill touch shot.
-Hole 4: Well guarded, slightly uphill, with big tree in fairway and a fairly low ceiling.
-Hole 5: Decent length and control required needed on this fairway.
-Hole 9: Looong. Air it out then putt uphill to elevated green across a path at the end.
-Hole 11: Downhill to a green with big downslope just past it. Requires touch, but not well guarded by more than the elevation.
-Hole 12: Again downhill and penal for those who hyzer out. In this case basket is well guarded. Fun hole.
-Hole 14: Skinny tunnel shot in woods. This course could use another couple of these.
-Hole 16: Probably my favorite hole. Wooded but well defined options as far as a fairway. Just a matter of accuracy. OB at the end of this hole in the form of a fenced yard.

Cons:

-Tees and signage are awful, and in some instances non-existant. Not only are there not teepads of a material other than dirt, but they are hard to find. What gives?
-Tall grass, glad it was early, bugs not a problem.
-Hole 1: Couldn't find tee. Saw it later in the form of a wood post, laying broken, flat on the ground.
-Hole 15: No tee sign or marking.
-Hole 18: Tee? Fairway? Not clear where either of these were located.
-Most of the holes, seem to play around the hill. Seems like a shame that more don't take advantage of uphill and downhill elevation, as well as plenty of trees that would make for one or two more more technical/woode holes.
-A walking path seems to follow the layout of the course. 3 times we needed to take a few minutes to allow locals to move through. (More holes that play uphill downhill between the upper and lower path might make this less of a regularity).
-No Epic hole here. Seems like it would be easy to make happen, given the hill this layout sits on, the big trees, and beautiful view.

Other Thoughts:

-This course has the "bones" to be a 3.5 or 4 type of course. However, throwing just 2 over par with only 4 discs in the bag suggests that perhaps the course could use updating to provide a better test.
-Conditions of tees and signs are as bad as I've seen. The course map attached in the link/media, is good and provided the only way of finding several holes.
-Would love to come back in a couple years and play this again, hopefully in better shape. So much to work with here.
