Pros:
- Really nice restrooms and drinking fountain on left side of the Outdoor Learning Center building at the parking lot.
- Long and short tees; the holes are significantly easier from the shorts.
- Fantastic hole signage on the long tees.
- Lots of Next Hole signs and blue/orange arrows for wayfinding, including Next Hole medallions under each basket.
- Regular elevation changes.
- Large, flat, grippy concrete pads on both long and short tees.
- Little to no trash on the course.
- Nicely worn paths to each hole.
-Well guarded baskets.
- Big kiosk with course map at entrance to course.
Cons:
- No benches on the course.
- Signage between 2 and 3 needs some work.
- Course is lefty/sidearm heavy from the short tees.
- Hiking and biking trails weave through the course, in some cases, scarily close to tees, baskets, and fairways.
- Lots of OBs due to he hiking and biking trails.
- Yellow basket rings are hard to see in the woods.
Other Thoughts:
Even from the short tees, basket placement can be challenging. The elevation changes are fun rather than grueling. The course is long enough that benches would be really nice. There are LOTS of berry bushes along the course, making for brutal disc hunting if you get off-course. Having bikers ride by really closely can be nerve wracking.
