Diamond in the Rough 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Mar 18, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Beautiful views of the mountains
-even though there were not signs or markers...we were able to find the next tee easy enough.
-holes' 1, 2, and 3 are pretty straight and viewable from the tee.
-hole 4, the cage lays straight over the hill...aim for the big tree, viewed at the tee.
-hole 5 is a nice flick shot through some trees and over a small valley.
hole 7 shoots up the courtyard and lays beside the group of dogwood trees.
Hole 8 is by far the best hole. it is a 600 foot downhill glory hole depending on which tee you throw from. This hole will make you feel like a pro driver if you release your rip just right. The elevation change has to be at least 100ft. down and the view from the tee is beautiful..
hole 9 plays back up the hill and forces you to throw a mega hyzer around this huge elm tree or you can try to drive it low under the canopy.

Cons:

only has 9 holes
no concrete or rubber to drive from.
no signs to give the footage or placement of the cage.
could have more trees planted to help make the difficulty a little more tricky.
a infant course but much potential.

Other Thoughts:

This course is easy to find with a GPS...if you dont have a GPS, the locals are friendly. When you get to the main road of the college, follow it up to the right...when you get up over the hill, the main chapel will be on your left along with the parking and the #1 tee will be on your right. The course follows around the main chapel and ends in the front courtyard.
