Pros:

Navigation: Good map, as typical for Iceland, coloured tape on spokes to direct towards next tee.

Cons:

Single tee/basket.

Natural tees, with 3-6 being very uneven, located on non-maintained land.

Other Thoughts:

Course plays in a clockwise fashion around a soccer field. About half (1, start of 2, 7-9) of the course is located on mowed grass, and about half (end of 2, 3-6) is on unimproved land.

The holes on the maintained area are open, relying on the berms to create fast greens on 1,8,9. Number-7 has a few small guardian trees nearby.

The holes on the non-improved area use bushes and small trees to create some shot-shaping. On #2, you must go over the trees from the elevated tee. Number-3 has a treeline on the right, limiting the approach from that direction, while 4-6 have most of their small obstaces along the left side.

The course is flat, but takes advantage of a few berms to create fast greens (1,8,9) or elevated tees (2,8).

Two sets of tees, the Reds being quite short, typically ~30m, and the Whites ranging from ~55m~110m.

Some decent challenges and length variations from the Whites. Try to fit the course in while exploring the South Coast.
