There's potential

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 25, 2023 Played the course:once

Pros:

This is a mostly park style rec course that plays through the grounds of the Idaho school for the deaf and blind. A good amount of trees here and many low ceiling drives and approaches. There is more property here than you realize when you drive up and there is potential here for a good 7-9 hole course. All the baskets are in good shape and all of them are the older version discatchers. Distances are for intermediate players and so is the challenge.

Cons:

Currently there are no tee signs, no tee pads, and the only way to navigate the course is to go through Udisc. Personally I kept saying to myself how if you moved the tee pad (what I followed on Udisc) here or there a little or the basket a little it would make these holes better. VERY RHBH friendly off the tee. There was more land on the side that wasn't used which looks like the best area for a few holes, maybe not the school's property? Not sure.

The layout I found takes you in one direction (Never found Harry Styles or the rest of the boys) and the last hole number 9 is the farthest point away from the parking lot so at the end of your round you walk all the way back through the course. I had to skip hole 6 I believe as it throws across a parking lot for the school and even in late June there were maintenance trucks and such parked out here. This hole and the one around the building are weird and I would have done something different.

Other Thoughts:

I think it's an easy stop and play if you have Udisc or you can make up your own course, doesn't much matter I think. Doesn't seem to get much play as there aren't many reviews on Udisc and I had to add it here. Worth a stop but nothing amazing.
