nice little course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 14, 2014 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Nice use of elevation. Course not crowded. Water in play on a few holes. beginner friendly.

Cons:

No signage, no amenities of any kind. In-step baskets which do not catch very well. navigation can be tricky without the map. Low area with water that you have to cross twice.

Other Thoughts:

This is a nice short course at a church. With the map available easily navigable. Short enough to be beginner friendly but not so easy to be boring. I would definitely play there again. talked to the pastor (friendly guy) and the members are building a bridge to cross the boggy area.

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 6, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Course is well maintained. The fairways seem to be cut regularly and grass around the baskets is also kept short.
-Elevation comes into play on almost every hole.

Cons:

-InStep baskets
-No tee signs or hole numbers on baskets plus the fact that multiple baskets can be seen from a few tees, made navigation without a course map a bit tricky.
-No trashcans or benches

Other Thoughts:

This little 9er is very similar to the other 9 hole course in Laurel, Crosspoint Church. Unlike Crosspoint, this course does have three holes with water in play. A great course to introduce people to the sport but if you're looking for a challenge this isn't the course for you.
If you're in the area, though, it's worth the stop
