Pros:
Bring all your shots because this course requires them all. At first, this high high desert course (5000ft) seems easy due to the lack of trees but be prepared for a challenge. Two island holes and many mandos keeps you on your toes. The strategic use of split rail fencing and picture based signage guides the golfer through the rolling landscape so there's no question of where the OBs are. See if you can make the 270ft triple mando hole #15, in just one shot.
Cons:
Because most of the disc golf courses in the area are integrated in to the natural landscape of sage brush and hilly rough terrain, be prepared to spend a little extra time locating discs that wind up either behind, in front, or in a large sage brush or arroyos. This adds another layer of challenge as sometimes it works to your advantage and sometimes it doesn't.
Other Thoughts:
Bring lots of water as this part of the world is hot and dry.
