Pros:

Surreal scenery
Good hill workout

Cons:

Lack of signage
Solar panel obstacles
Awful baskets

Other Thoughts:

Don't go to Mercey Hot Springs with disc golf being a major factor. The baskets can't hold discs when you try to throw them in. There are solar panels on the hills, some in the path of flying discs. If you go to Mercey and are a disc golfer, play a quick round and then hit the hot spring tub or pool. As the other reviewer said, the last shot is a fun one; however, if your disc lands on the hill, it's a really steep decline, so be careful.

Just a quick review 2+ years drive by

Pros:

You don't come to this place to play disc golf, you come to relax and enjoy the hot springs, which are wonderful. If you like to throw a disc, some makeshift leather and chains pole hole targets are installed around the hilltops overlooking the springs. And then when the round is over, you go back and soak in the hot spring water. Enough said.

Positives:
-Lots of topography, probably over 200'
-Lots of wind, this adds fun challenge.
-Beautiful setting, love the ranch country between I-5 and 101!
-HIGHLIGHT: The finishing hole is a super fun downhill shot!

Cons:

-Baskets are pretty much not functional. They have self-destructed in the elements.
-No trees or other significant obstacles.

Other Thoughts:

I just wanted to post a review, since nobody else did so just yet. We drove in from Hollister, through much mouth-watering potential disc golf heaven country, I hope the sport continues to grow in this area. Ranch disc golf is a major frontier to develop further! Get the ranchers playing disc, and we'll have tons of the best courses you could ever dream of playing.
