Pros:

Great challenge of a course with the island hole 6, the 500 foot creek hole 8 and the tight out of the pines blind dog leg on 9. Beautifully maintained City of Glencoe park. There is a great full map of the park by the practice basket. Both hole 1 and hole 9 are right near the parking lot. The course is easy to navigate with signs except between hole 4 and 5. Nice painted mando signs on a few of the holes(Hole 3's mando is unique). Dual concrete tee pads and dual pin placements on some holes it looks like. There is pride in the course that is evident.

Cons:

Hole 4 to 5 is a long walk. No signage to point you in the right direction. It is evident that flooding is an issue each spring with the creek and island hole. I wouldnt be surprised if a couple holes are unplayable in the wettest parts of the year.

Other Thoughts:

A couple "ace run's" in hole 3 and 4 short. There are also a couple long holes that you can give it your all and still need an upshot. Younger trees have been planted that will grow to really add some challenge to a couple holes. Fairly new redesign. In time it looks like it will really be a top notch course in the area.
