Pros:
First off, I really do like what's here for what it's meant to be.
- Well kept park - nicely mowed with a nice shelter. Probably just over an acre of park in total.
- Baskets in generally good shape.
- Easy navigation since you can see the whole course.
- Potentially fun for safari rounds.
- Likely always have the course to yourself
- Great for beginners, or for fun while having a party or picnic
- Just off the 4-lane highway for a quick round with just a versatile putter or midrange.
Cons:
- Really packed in there, so safety concerns if more than one group on the course
- Really quite open. Only #4 and #5 have any obstacles or shot shaping.
- Unfortunately, the timberline that skirts #1, #4, and #5 has the thickest and largest amount of poison ivy I've ever seen on a disc golf course...which is saying something.
Other Thoughts:
- Short short short - but if you know that's what you're getting into, can be fun.
- Great for the community, but probably not worth stopping unless you want to stretch out for a bit while on the road.
- I give it a 4 out of 5 (!) for what it was designed to be, a pitch and putt. But in the broader scope of my reviewing process, just not enough here to garner a higher rating. It's not 1.0 - Poor. It's really 1.0 - Simple.
